Kenny McAlpine

Kenny McAlpine leads the music and audio teaching on the programmes within the Division. He holds a undergratuate qualifications in music and mathematics, and completedd his PhD in Formalised Music Composition at the University of Glasgow in 1999. Kenny's research interests are currently centred on the use of technology as a tool for heritage preservation, and he busies himself with theatre and media commissions whenever he can.

Outwith academia, Kenny likes to play jazz Hammond. The rest of the time he is likely to be found listening to Radio 4 or rolling about the hills of Fife on a mountain bike.
